GCS is looking for IT Manager (It is night shift job from our office in Lahore).
Job Description
- We are looking for an experienced and motivated information technology manager who will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all the Helpdesk staff, computing systems and equipment are operating effectively and efficiently.
- To be successful in this position you will demonstrate a detailed knowledge of the industry’s best practices and evidence a professional track record of effective technical management, information analysis, and a thorough understanding of computer hardware and software systems.
- Coordinate and supervise IT staff members and schedule their duties on weekly/monthly basis in a rotation.
- Manage IT Team Leads by training them how to train their team members, communicate job expectations, and monitor performance.
- Manage and coordinate all IT-related matters including servers, data, wireless communications, mobile technology, telephony, security, and computer hardware and software.
- Coordinate technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Supervise selection and purchase of new and replacement hardware and software, for GCS and clients, when necessary.
- Guide and supervise Testing, troubleshooting, and modification of IT systems so that they operate effectively.
- Analyze performance reports of operating systems and employees. Present analysis to management along with recommendations.
- Assure all IT activities are performed within the parameters of applicable laws, codes, and regulations.
- Evaluate technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
- Monitor network / employee utilization and performance, implement procedures for optimization, reliability, and availability.
- Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time.
- BBA-IT/MBA-IT, MIS, MS Project Management or BSCS/MSCS with MBA/PMP or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, services, and staff.
- Experience with computer networks, network administration, and network installation.
- Proficient in computer hardware, cabling installation and support, wireless technology applications and interface, and IT security.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows software, including server, office, and exchange.
- Management and leadership skills.
- Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
