Other Details: The Enterprise IT Architect works in a client facing role providing solution design and architecture of IT application and infrastructure implementation projects. Should have capability to interact with multiple stakeholders in complex projects.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Accountable for end to end solution design, development and deployment oversight as per charter, SoW and plan and ensures time, scope & budget constraints are respected.
- Continuously works with the Project Manager in delivery phase as the Technical project focal point for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provides sign-off for technical deliverables at project level and obtain sign-off from Sponsor as needed
- Works with vendor staff on risks, issues, changes, escalations using appropriate control and reporting mechanisms. Reports to stakeholders, steerco and Sponsor as needed
- Leads key initiation, planning and control sessions/telcos on technology related issues with internal and external stakeholders.
- Defines clear deliverables, QA/QC mechanisms, exit criteria early on in the project and secures stakeholder buy in
- Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of IT projects
- Develops technical milestones to track progress
- Uses appropriate verification techniques to manage technical changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measures project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Reports and escalates to management as needed
- Performs technical risk management to minimize project risks
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project technical documentation.
Must have Functional Knowledge of:
- Design & mapping technology solution,
- IT Architecture and solution design fundamentals, infrastructure, data and application architecture, physical and logical architecture models and oversee project delivery against design, quality & delivery assurance
- application integration, data integration, web services, preferably in Oracle ERP integration environment will be a big plus
- cloud based SaaS solutions, design, develop and oversee deployment of complex technical solutions involving hybrid cloud environments, IT Services delivery, IT Security, mobile computing and real time analytics
- Industry 4.0 frameworks, IoT, RFID, exposure to, or conceptual knowledge of block chain, certified TOGAF or Zachman practitioner.
