eShaafi is looking for a passionate and driven Devops Engineer to join our team in Lahore. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has at least 2-3 years of experience with AWS. We are looking for kick-ass AWS experts in different roles who will be responsible for building, configuring, and managing a plethora of infrastructure architectures on AWS.
Responsibilities:.
- Must know how to automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as a Code with AWS Cloud formation
- Creating and managing deployment environments hosted on SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS and Servers (VMs, physical hosts)
- Able to write pipelines in Shell and/or Python
- Must have knowledge of management and implementation of latest security standards and monitoring of the solution
- Troubleshooting problems, involving the appropriate resources and driving resolution of issues with a focus on minimizing impact to our customers.
- Able to automate configuration management using Ansible and/or Chef
- Setting up and managing MySQL, MongoDB, MariaDB, Oracle, PostgreSQL
- Represent production support for the suite of apps, and deployment activities.
- Setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GITLab CI/CD, CodeDeploy, or any other CI/CD tool.
Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science, IT or relevant degree from a reputable institute.
- Experience: 2-3 years
- Certification: Linux / Unix and AWS / GCP (considered a plus)
- Intermediate to expert knowledge of Windows and Linux OS and shell scripting
- Configuring Firewalls, security groups, and WAF (Web Application Firewalls)
- Configuration management: Ansible or Chef
- Exposure to Continuous Integration and Deployment
- Proficiency in script development in Bash
- The ability to be a team player
- The ability and skill to train other people in procedural and technical topics
- Able to communicate difficult technical concepts clearly to a variety of individuals of varying technical expertise and understanding
