Primary Oracle DBA Duties:
- Oracle 12/19c administration and support (on-prem or cloud)
- Oracle Patch Management Coordination and implementation
- Oracle backup and recovery planning/testing
- Provide infrastructure support at all levels and after hours support as needed
- Coordinate Oracle DB work with other Systems Administrators and IT Teams
- Review, recommend, and implement new Oracle services as required
- Support applications/systems as designated Design & support various business critical RDBMS (Sybase, Oracle & SQL server) environments including Technical Project Management, Architecture & new setups.
- 24x7 Production support. Installation, upgrade and maintenance of databases. Pro-active monitoring, tuning, configuring server. Support all day-to-day DBA tasks. Schema Migration & Query tuning.
- Perform Health Checks and Monitor checks/alerts on all Systems Proactively.
- Prepare all required setup, SOP’s & DR/BCP documents.
- Prepare scripts (Unix shell/windows powershell) for various tasks automation.
- Contact database vendor for technical support for all critical/stack errors.
